pure genius
Last night during devotions, we asked the question, "what are the blessings andf burdens of work. Diane Beson, Ben Harvey and Tom Beukhof shared about how we understand the blessings and burdens of labor. They reflected both on the work here at Pine Ridge and generally at home. Following their responses, Barret GOsen chimed in, and in a profound way said, "the blessings lift the burdens." A wise man at age 13.

Until I post the picture of Barret, here is a picture of the man who raised him.

It must have been a wonderful experience to see the people there, i feel at my house that i have very little but when i see the pictures of the kids happier then ever just because they got to learn like a Bible verse or got to see what kindness is and how it is shown, or even a playground that has become their palace it's shows how lucky i am just to have a single book or a pet and a family that loves me with all their hearts. No matter what problems are going on. Thank you for telling me about everything that a happy heart needs, i hope that one day i can see the smiling faces of the kids and the adults in person. God Bless You.
